Amidst nearly 2,000 acres of member-exclusive open space sits the 32,000-square foot heart of the entire Greenbrier Sporting Club community.
The Members’ Lodge overlooks the 18th green on The Snead golf course, where setting suns fill the bucolic vista with hues of red, purple, and orange. Howard’s Creek meanders by below the terrace as golfers look for their last putt of the day.
The Members’ Lodge is the social hub of The Sporting Club and welcomes members into its warm, acorn-accented interior, with a grand sweeping staircase that leads to an upper level, boasting magnificent and panoramic views. Handsome, hickory wainscoting adorns the walls, a nod to the legendary Sam Snead’s golf clubs, and a two-story hand-set stone fireplace creates an inviting aura.
Dining at The Members’ Lodge is popular for our members, with options to dine in the main dining area, along the outdoor covered terrace, and also fireside in the lounge. This is a great way to mix and mingle with other members and socialize after an active day outdoors.
Aside from gourmet dining at The Members’ Lodge restaurant, the clubhouse is also home to The Pro Shop – replete with sporting gear, a fully-stocked bar and lounge area, men and women’s locker rooms, and the concierge offices.
